I am a retired member of the Department of Mathematics of the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. My research interests are history of mathematical sciences (including astronomy) in medieval Islamic civilization and Greek antiquity, and history of mathematics in the Netherlands in the period 1500-1850.
According to the regulations of my university, it is not possible for me to accept new PhD students after my retirement.
